::Only the strongest remains::Wha a night!! It was greatin bondin time for OCF Low_profile cell... from preparation of the food, worshippin and then shared on cell vision.. indeed a good time for everyone to know each other deeper... Guess its not just the "hi bye" type but knowing their personality, their strengths and fr there continue to build relationship and accountability as well...
Not forgettin that our team won!! yeah!! all thanks to Gie's special steam fish sauce which Vee Chan used on the "devilish chicken" haha which was of course swooped up in less than 5 mins (okay 10 lah).... The yuumy sticky date pudding that Su made was excellent!! also charlene's pirated pizzas were great....opps too much food... now hv to sleeeppp... will upload the pics to my yahoo pics... so click on the link to view them yah... nite nite!!

Smetimes I wonder where I stand exactly... when I am bk in S'pore I feel that I am too ang-mohfied amongst some of my friends...but then again when I am here in melbourne, i think I am too cheeennnaa.. hmmm so where do i find a balance... just smething which struck me.. food for thought...

Guess was so overwhelmed by the call last night that I had difficulty falling asleep... but woke up feelin really joyful today... felt very loved by my CG... though some of them i barely known for a year..its really amazing how God draws ppl together to spur each other on...I am really excited that I am going to spend eternity with these ppl...
John just smsed me sayin tha the CDs i wanted (Planetshakers) are out of stock!! *sob sob* i guess I will get them when i return in jun.. too ex here with all the exchange rate going on...or if sme of you guys really wan to, can snail mail it to me.. hahah just kidding...
will be setting up my tagboard soon so that ppl who visits my blog can leave msgs... cool rite!!

Biggest joke of the weekHonestly, I would hv been branded the silliest gal of the world... whilst doing my very much publicised 2,500 wd essay, early in the morning 2am, I decided to hv a quick look on the tips that the lecturer had given us...i come to realise that it is actually 1,500 wds instead!! Think it was really the leadin of the HS for me to realise that I do not hv to write so many wds!! Anyway, managed to rush to tutorial and submit it on time *phew* am very relieved tha it is finally over!!
The sweetest thing
Oh very surprised!! my s'pore cell members just called me and I had a quick chat with each of them... so sweet... *floating in the air now* love you guys!! *muah!!* A couple of special wds to them:

Just something to share with you guys on Sunday service... Pastor Sam (City Church) was speakin to us abt removing the "stones" in our lives... abt removing the barriers that are stoppin us fr fulfillin our destiny, things like hurt... I was very surprised that God wanted me to deal with an issue which I thought has been over and done with... but He said no, this is wha I want you to deal with NOW... so I obeyed... the amazin thing is that i realised that there is a difference in my choice of wds when describing this person immediately aft the service... it was not a conscious effort until I realised it later... PTL!!

Yeah yeah the day is finally here, tomrw the OCF cell shall pit against each other in a competition to win the title!! haha the theme is Garden of Eden... and my team shall prepare... let you guys know tmrw aft the competition... my blog is often visited by my competitors (haha for a moment there you thought you were going to get the details out of me rite? Yums YumsChar Siew bakin in the oven right now... Gie makin Sze Chuan soup, boiling over the stove... my stomach's all ready for lunch aft the morning shoppin at Vic mark... very happy with wha I bought, will be making Bah Kut Teh soon (when I am done writing my essay).
Not much was accomplished yesterday except for lying in bed and watchin tons of TV... not in the shape to do anything else. Did manage to read some notes in the night for my essay though *beam*...
Post report of Karaoke session
Think the place tha we went to was still at dinosaur age... using bk to find the songs that we want!! OMG nearly fainted when I was there... but was assured by Vee Chan that its only at tha location, others are more high tech... as usual, the night proceeded on with picture snapping with Viv and Su's camera's... will post that up on Yahoo when I get them...oh yes.. i hv added the link so that it would be easier to view it, esp when I announce that new pics hv been uploaded...
Overall I must say tha I had a lot of fun singing... at least managed to satisfy some part of the singing urge... the songs are not very up till date here... and yes, we had Liang Jing Ru's concert (all those in singapore wld know wha I mean) but there was really nothing else much to sing!! hehe

On the trainJust finished Marketing research class... Simply love it! I really thank God for keeping me @ OMD till Feb & gave me a chance to attend my client's focus group.... The experience really help me to relate to this unit!
On my way 2 meet e gang 4 our ever first karaoke session...So exciting!
A Bad start
Didn't really managed to get a good rest last night, think its gota to with the weather... woke up in the middle of the night feeling really hot and crappy... So in the end I slept in till late today, close to noon.. sigh... Anyway decided to hv my dosage of royal jelly today.. and tha really perked me up quite bit...
Went for karaoke night at the pub in sch last night with Ann and Daniel (cute polish guy - but attached so hands off!!)... it was organised by Asean club... it was horrible!! Not well organised at all!! Totally reminded me why I simply refused to join any club this time round... its just a group of friends who decides to nomindate the leader of their group (usually the nicest guy or with most popular one) so that they can hv a "social" club to their resume... out to hv fun without any purpose... They were all singing english songs... Forget abt MTV.... just lyrics, music and a bunch of ppl shouting (singing is not in their dictionary)....
Hv decided that we (Ann, Daniel, Cecilia and Simon) sld go out for dinner and drinks one weekend night... think it would nice.... Daniel and Simon are locals so they know the great places to go... Think this "full-time student" group might work out great... all of us fr diff background... Ann fr Taiwan and Cecilia fr Chilie.. cool...
Towards a good ending
Updates on my essay: Managed to find the articles that I needed.. now i hv to read (more like skim) through them and pick out the quotes I need to use... aim to start writing tmrw... *Mental note* badly need paper, otherwise I can't submit this assignment...think I will track down to QV tmrw....

Not a very bright morningAs I opened my fridge tis mornin, took a quick stock take of wha is lackin and decides to track down to Vic market to do a bit of refillin... went downstairs, look towards the direction of the market and realised something is wrong with the picture.... hmmm... It is CLOSED!! silly me... keep thinking tha it is Thu tha the market is closed.. oh well tmrw then...
Yippie managed to get some resources on the way for my essay last night.. very happy.. am going to continue to work at it...
Signed up for DNA by City Church aft service last sun... it is suppose tonight at Arrow blding.. then on monday realised "hey why in the world did I sign up for it... I can;t make it.. got classes!!" DUH!!
Ann (my classmate) told me tha there is some karaoke thingy at uni tonight.. will prob go check it out with her..

Exercise regimeOne of the many many things that I hv intended to do in Melbourne, is to lose weighth. Not sure if that would be realistic or not, but oh well at least I am exercising now. Last week attended two classes at Mel Uni as well as going for a swim at City Bath. Went to Taibox with my exercise partner again today, boy was it tiring. But felt good aft the workout. Hmmm just remembered that we forgot to check out the new ladies gym in the city... well will do that sometime this week I hope....
No protection fr cold
Aft much walkin and shopping around today, still hv not bought my quilt and heater. Was extremely determined to bring something hm today. Unfortunately, they are still selling FANs and AIR COOLER in the shops.... only saw a few pathetic heaters which was not wha I was looking for. Hope they shift that stuff off the shelves soon and put in the right appliance for this weather. Just wanna get this over n done with. As for the quilt, they did not hv the one I wanted at Mayers city, so they are bringing in fr sm wulu surburban one. At least that is on the way....
Alright I admit it!! I didn;t go for classes today... not up to it.. dun know why. The excuse that I gave myself is so that I can work on my essay. Nope not started yet... definately wan need to kick start it tonight. hmmm getting hungry.. time for dinner!!

Another Ordinary DayTracked to school earlier today, hoping to catch my tutor & discuss my hair tearing 2,500 wd essay topic. Not much of a help l must say. The title is still airy fairy at this moment.
Am writing this as i am going through e Century's most boring Lecture (that is till nxt wk when l hv to go through another evaluation of which wk was worst). The no. of slides was very little, bringing hope tha it wld b a short lect. But no........ I was wrong! He is rambling on & on....... Am in Mars right now, wishing he wld end soon so I can head hm to watch Sex in the city. (Yeah we r finally moving on to pg 4 of 6!) anyway think there's sm worth in listening now......

This silly goose thought tha she can take e cold.... But she was wrong! Freezing, she decides to eat half a cup of chips 2 keep herself warm... Never again is she leaving hm wout it!

MainIt was indeed surprising to see my main today, totally didn't expect it at all!! Anyway, as for Danielle, it will definately be parked quite a number of places back in backup.
Oh well, the weekend's over and I have yet to start on my 2,500 wds essay!!! How how how, its due next wk... looks like have to track to sch earlier tmrw and meet my tutor about it... no choice. I must say this weekend (which starts on Friday for me), has indeed been exciting and good. Praise God for this!! Looking forward to a BLESSED week ahead!!
Birth of a New Blog
Alrighty!! Aft a few days of chossing and browsin till my eyes nearly POPed out, finally decided on a skin for my blog... It is still in the "simple mode" with just the basic requirements, will continue to work on it when I hv the time (prob nxt wkend!!).
Though it has been only 3.5 half weeks in Melbourne, I really thank God for the wonderful ppl that He has provided for me here.... Gie thanks for being not just a great hsemate, but a great gal friend as well!! Pray that you will continue to draw close to God okie :)... Sue, my partner in sports, thanks for all the st. directions tha you hv given as well, otherwise I wld be lost!! Lou, you certianly bring laughter everytime I see you, without fail.... hehe you know wha I mean.... and not forgettin the thorn among the roses (you know who you are) for being nice enought to "adhere" to our transportation request... Thank you all!!
