Long long day... another day another battle won.... yet other battles are going on....dun really feel like fighting certain battles but there is no choice...
other battles are fought in a mess coz the leaders do not listen to the commanders.... the team effort goes into chaos and the battle is not fought with the right strategy....
a night of rest before i continue to fight the battles leftover from today....
God... please intervene...

everything cool's now... I have learnt to understand and see things from another perspective...Went to watch Tim Burton's Corpse Bride this evening... it was fun to watch, rather short though, but its worth the watch if you are into 3D animation....

Nokia, the world's leading mobile phone maker, announced on Wednesday it had sold its one billionth mobile phone since it began producing the devices at the beginning of the 1980s.
"Earlier this summer, Nokia sold our one billionth mobile phone, a Nokia 1100 sold in Nigeria," Kai Oeistaemoe, senior vice president of Nokia's Mobile Phones division, said in a statement.
"It will be new growth markets like Nigeria that will fuel the growth towards three billion subscribers by 2010," up from the world's current two billion subscribers, he added.
From Nokia's first mobile phone - a 15-kilogram car phone called Mobira Senator that hit the market in 1982 - to the company's new 2652 - which is expected to be available next month - the Finnish company has produced about 400 different cell phone models.
Nokia holds more than 30 percent of the global cell phone market, landing it in the top spot worldwide, well ahead of other industry giants like Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Siemens.

Its always important to keep an emergency chocolate bar in your office fridge... for times of high tension ... like when your stupid agency keeps requesting for extension of deadlines.Is it possible not to bring in your personal feelings...? Yes i understand that we as humans are emotionally driven, however there has to be a line drawn somewhere....
I can understand wha you are going through is not easy, but life has to go on...
I'm sorry to say, i hate your curt responses... some questions were post out of care and concern...
Lord, i pray for peace and joy to fill her life... grant her the strength and wisdom....

There seems to be a trend in my blogging habits... entries are more consistent when i am less hectic at work... when the workload starts to pile, forget about checking my private emails...the last few days has been madness at work.. meetings, presentations and negotiations... i think the negotiations are the worst, i feel as though i am going onto a battle field... all the strategies must be prepared beforehand, and there must be enough ammunition to protect the attacks of the enemies.... The worst is that very soon, i will have to fight this battle alone... stepping up to the position of a commander... I am not sure if i have the capabilites as yet but under these circumstances, i dun have a choice either...
The situation is worst then we thought initially... it was as though the first shock was not bad enough, the second news just made it all worst... but i believe that God has a plan for us, He will make this a better place than it was...
Weekend's here!! yippie... but i still wished that i was still living a student's life...
Second pay's in!! its quite strange coz the first place i went to slurge on is the supermarket! Its weird but i guess its me!

Graduating at a nice hotel in a cool environment definately beats having it in back Melb, especially since i wld have to wait till Nov/Dec for it... The ceremony was quick since there was only about 140 of us receiving our degrees/diploma and there were no long speeches...
So alot more time was spent was taking pics.. tons and tons of them... guess its the last time that i will be in a regalia so it had better be good!! To view the whole set of pictures, click here
Took out some of my old school year books last night.. I was quite surprised to find RGPS year books leading bk to before i was even born!! wtp! i really hv no idea how i got hold of them... I was surprise that i cld still sing both my primary and secondary school song at the glance of the lyrics...
For you RGPS gals out there, here it is:

Guess tha's how all the competitive values were instilled into our young minds, all singing the song and not realising the true meaning of it. I'm not saying that its all bad, but there are pros and cons to it...
Looking at the photos, i realised that i had forgotten some of the teachers who had taught me before... those who are gentle, encouraging and imparted alot into my life...If given a chance, i wld wanna say a big Thank You to them...

:: Great Movie ::Watched Cinderella Man last night... it was a great show but the story line and cinematography was excellent... kinda lazy to elaborate on it right now but hey, just go watch it alright...

Since Douglas will be coming down from Shanghai for the graduation, think i will play host this week, prob show him some of the tourist sights like zoo? haha yes i have not been there for quite some time also... so i guess it would be nice...

:: Healthy Wholesome lifestyle ::yes i finally got my gym membership... its with Planet Fitness... though i wld miss the tai tai feelin of Fitness First, but the price is really too steep for my small little income at the moment... but its nice to get bk into a healthy lifestyle... it also means i dun hv to get up earlier in the mornin to jog!!! yeah!!!

My ex-monash uni classmate is having a performance, for those of you in Melb, go check it out!! She choreographed the second dance...

Flight Risk, choreographed by Bilqis Hijjas, is a meditation on humanpilgrimage and immigration, seen through the lens of the annualmigration of birds.
Way/Wait/Weighted, choreographed by Laura Summers, showcases film aswell as live performance work, and is an exploration of weight, as itphysically informs movement and figuratively affects relationships.

:: The calm before the storm ::Everything is still sailing along right now... a couple of problems to handle now and then...
but
i think the situation will change very soon... will be preparing for client's next year planning very soon... tha's when chaos hit, more creative and analytical brain juices are required...

Graduation is this weekend!! Time really flies!! Douglas wld be coming down from Shanghai and passing me some extra tics for the ceremony.... a couple of my gal friends are going to attend the ceremony with my parents... watch this space for pics next week...

Realised that I am able to defend and rationalise the media plans and schedules that i have presented to clients...
but how come I am not able to be as firm when i am defending my faith... I believe that God is encouraging me to stand firm...
