With the return of Viv from Sydney, we gathered once again for our fav past time - KARAOKE! With that comes another belated celebration.. thanks gals!! (i rem the first yr celebration also at Karaoke!) For the one that is in the cold, wet shopping paradise.. This kiss is for you... though we cannot be physically there, we will always be there spiritually for you okie :) The physical hug will come in 4 weeks! (i hope, still have not booked ticket! haha)

me family had a celebration lunch at Mezza9 (food is fantabulous!)... Dad got them to present a small bday cake *on the hse of course* and the waiters/waiteress were singing a funky bday song... haha, din know my dad could be into surprises as well....

The week before, we had combined cell, and my cell member made me a very sweet handmade card, and gave me an early celebration at combined cell (top left) As i am on leave for Life Conference, my colleagues gave me an early bday surprise on Wed afternoon... To sum it all up: Handmade card + flowers + spa voucher + Awfully choc cake *wooo hoo* made this gal very happy. However, nothing compares to Your promise which has been spoken forth 3 times till date. Thank You :)
Last weekend was Father's Day... decided that i needed to destress (even though there was nothing major to destress for) and do some cooking instead of heading out for a meal... My dad's favourite dish is roast chicken from Cold Storage, hence that was the dish i tried to conquer. After searching through the internet for recipes, i decided to just create my own. Coz most of the recipes are for chicken as big as turkey! and not exactly what i was looking for. Anyways, this is how my first attempt at Rosemary roast chicken turned out. Its a bit brown on the top as i glazed it with honey lemon towards the end of the roast. Think i was too heavy handed on the lemon, will keep that in mind for my second attempt!

Was at the Jamie Cullum concert last night...one word to sum it all up...
excellent!
A great musician which does not have the word "rules" in his dictionary and brought everyone to their feet (standing on chairs, mind you) towards 3rd quarter of the concert.

Was at the zoo last weekend for a client's event... was there all alone so i decide to roam around and try to catch some shots of ze animals in our Supper Club.... Some animals like starfish, seahorse, sheep, ants (need a micro lens to capture), rabbit, cat, hamster, sotong was not possible to capture. So i only managed to get Zebra (Murf) + C. Monkey (Pilgrim). Was trying to get a shot of Polar bear, however it was sleeping in such an ord position, the picture wld prob appear as though its a white furry carpet...

she's currently on summer exchange in the US...
its really an exciting thing to do...
wonder why i never requested for exchange prog...
it would have been an exciting adventure...
I very much wanna go on an adventure right now...
to erase all that is on my calendar...
and not knowing what is going to happen tmrw...
and not plan for it either...
