It's been an exciting few weeks, with much happening in the ministry and work arena...Was at David Tao's concert last weekend, needless to say, it was good. This is my second "foc" time at his concert and both times i felt like i had walked out of a rock concert at the end of it. His vocal was really strong and pitched every note accurately. Unfortunately, given the shy Singaporean crowd, it did not really hit a mega 'high'. But there were still fans who stood up, danced and swayed along to his singing. Here's a couple of piccies from the concert...
The last pic is my personal fav, though not able to see his face, but it really brings out a very emo side to the concert. hmmm speaking of which have been very into the "emo" photography these days. Which brings me to my update on a trip to Kukup, that just ended a couple of hours ago.
BH, Sab and i decided to join my ex Lcell ppl on a nuaing trip to Kukup. We stayed at a full board "holiday resort" with mahjong and karaoke facilities... It is basically a bungalow guest house which could hold up to 100 people... Besides our group of 20, there were another group of youths that stayed on the second level.
The bungalow was constructed on stilts, amongst the swampy grounds. Mud skippers and hermit crabs are a common side on the muddy grounds, especially during low tides. It was a nice and clean place and all we did was either eat, walk ard in the village, play mahjong or just simply nua on the arm chairs looking out into the sea. No internet, and very little TV. It was a break away from all the gadgets. There was even a black out during dinner, and we had a lomantic candlelight environment instead of one lighted by yellow fluorescents. It was also great to hang out with my ex Lcell people, who were ALWAYS ready to C&C... I am amazed at how they are building relationships and ready to share Christ. Despite not meeting them for so long, i still feel very comfortable with them.

Moving on....
The promotion was finally announced officially this week, through a quirky email on both of us plus an exclusive video of Russ dancing uploaded onto Youtube. Amongst all the piccies of us, they had to choose a dodgy one haha...
Am rather upset by the lack of communication with a close partner at ministry, dun really wish for unhappiness to affect our friendship... so will prob hv to do smething abt it rather than shoving it under tha carpet.
Looking forward to Mediaworks in a couple of wk's time at bkk... also another break and catchin up w my thai uni mate... then bk to bkk again in early Jun for church camp... Tha's the travelling sch for first half... hmmm not to plan for second half :)

The truism of things...I am tired.
Tired of fighting internal wars, when i should be focus on servicing my clients better and expanding my role.
Tired of always having to justify that i am good at what i am doing. (Without sounding too self righteous, but i think i am doing okay. of course there is room for improvement, but you make it sound as though i am a headless chicken running around)
Tired of you coming into the situation and making a mess out of it. To my consolation, I am not the only one saying this.
Lord, please remove the veil of deception over her eyes.
