:: Next assignment pls ::Yes, finally submitted my 20 sec "Passion" project today... parked myself in the lab for 6 hrs yesterday and it is out of the way!!! Had to reward myself today.... so i went shopping!! haha... bought sme facial products and splurged on a Kookai top...
The filmming for the last few scenes of my "Ident" project went well on Sat... it was done outdoors, at a park near my uni... The weather was beautiful... sunshine and all... it was so such a refreshing day compared to the past few mths of gloominess.... The gals decided to hit the beach - St Kildas... here are sme pics we took:

:: Down the drain... ::6 hrs of mac work down the drain... i did not save the files on the hard drive of the computer and worked off my thumb drive instead... and apparently, the file are likely to be corrupted if i just work off the thumb drive... crap...got an extension till monday...
but then again, i get to redo my project... and i hv other ideas which would make it look better than my previous work... hmmm maybe its God's plan to redo... not really grumblin abt it also... :)
More design work this wkend... another grp story board due next week... this time the project is 50% *faintz*... working with a china ad guy and another south africian (i think) ... hmm should be quite cool...
will also be filming the remaining outdoor scenes this weekend... shld be quite fun... filming richard and his dog... hmmm hopefully the pup will be good and give us the visuals that we need....
Wish i could spend more time with the gals... hmmm I wanna go shopping!! actually i think its a good thing tha i am busy, coz i dun hv time to spend money!! haha.... i need to gym...

:: Render, render and rendering... ::tha is wha is takin up so much of our time on the FCP program... crap.. one of my classmate took 1 hr to render his work!!! but i think its all worth it... i looks fantastic.. these ppl are mad, they can dun eat and sleep to do all the work... am going hm now... aft 6 hrs in the Mac lab and not attending today's classes..

Hmmm now i know why they call it "pro"... its definately not for ametuars like me... haha in the proper Mac lab now... where all the equipment is tuned for this project... saw a couple of other students' works... sigh... i am so far fr them... some of their standards are high enough to use their work as TV commercials!!! *whine whine whine*
Dun get me wrong, though i am whinning, i am really enjoyin myself in this unit.. hehe

hmmm i am dangerously bloggin this... sittin in the postgrad lab of the Design building... many of the design students are in this rm... mostly i think at like furniture design students.. doing marker rendering.. hmm all of them look funky.. and must be thinking.. wha in the world is this gal doing on a mac in this rm... i felt like i was invading their territory...

:: Day of satisfaction ::Was quite mad with my coursemates who i am doing a grp presentation with on Wed night... had a grp meetin this afternoon and the two guys certainly were not master's students standards... it was not even undergrad standard... the thing is, they dun really put in effort into it.... and can make comments like "wha... all you do is study, no life... i play everyday" *arrgghhh* its like if you can produce good work, i have nothing to say.... but look at your quality of work, i can use it to mop floor....
Anyway, besides tha... it was great day... spent 1.5 hrs in the Mac lab and completed *tada* 3 seconds of my design assignment *diaong* ... hey its only a 20 seconder okay... but it still needs load of work.. how how how, think i need to camp in Mac lab tmrw...
Besides tha (did i say tha already *scratches head*) had loads of fun eating today... had Hot Pot at a shop near our place... it was certainly HOT.. as in chilli HOT... check out the clr of the soup...

:: To be a producer ::Su and i had been toking abt watching The Producers since the day it opened....We finally got down to it and bought tickets for today's 3pm show.. Gie and Chad went as well...it was certainly worth every single cent of the $90... the gal acting as the swedish lady had such a beautiful high arched feet, i was filled with envy... if only i had those feet, i would continue my dancing dreams... sigh....

yups.. that is the name of our OCF cell... Low-Profile recently multiplied into two cells - Acid and Passionate (sounds familiar?? I shld hv asked for copy rights.. haha) Even though it has been a couple of weeks, but i hv not really toked abt it (or hv i?? hmmm short term memory lost)
Really thank God for His timely plans... though it may be difficult for some to accept, we are indeed in a comfortable sized cell of 8 to 12 now... by the way our cell's full name is Acid - We burn for God... cool rite?!?! haha... btw we hv our own blog too!! ACID

:: Will you be a gardener ::Was tokin to one of my spore leaders yesterday in the aft.... all dreamy and stony... she was sharing a testimony on how she just shared with one of her collegues... i suddenly typed out the analogy of being a gardener...
As a gardener, we will plant seeds in the lives of other ppl.... prayerfully these seeds will be planted on good soil, that it will flourish and blossom in its season and time... the extend of its beauty will be seen by all... shinning forth with its vibrant clrs and strong aroma of fresh sweetness....
Sometimes, these seeds needs a boast of fertilizer... which will be administered by the orchard owner - God.... it is Him that will fully know the condition of the flower and thus instructing his faithful servants and helpers to administer the right medication...
Are you all excited to see your flower bloom yet?
Su and I watched the Badminton Women's single final last night... haha soaking in the spirit of Olympics.. after all, how can we not be influenced when the patriotic spirit is flyin high here..

:: Photo Entry ::Was searchin the internet for visuals to use on my "I pass on Passion" multimedia project, i saw quite a few nice pics with regards to "heart" genre... here they are....
Found this to be very simplistic.. reminded me of "simple hands, simple hearts" hmmm is that OCF's July camp's theme???
This picture brought out that though the rest of the world would be "colourless", its the passion in our hearts to carries us through...
It kinda represents those who are in love... everything is sweet.. there may be times whereby the passion may be very intense (red) and smetimes very little left (white) haha.. dun know if i make sense...

:: My first filming session ::
It was very fun!! hahah me and my partner had a great time fiddling around with the big canon camera as well as the small DV sony... we were kinda "blur" as we hurried ard gettin the place set for the shoot.. .but it turned out good...got the kind of footage and i must say that the art direction is prettyyyy good... (self praise - international disgrace *diaong*) tha was just the studio shoot... we hv yet to complete the outdoor shoot... which will probably be next weekend...
this is just the start, we hv more editing to do!! haha... i am really enjoying this class, even though i started of thinkin that i wld be inadequate coz i am so out of touch with all the equipment and software... but I hv the passion for it.... haha it makes it all easier..
alrighty, bk to doing my stupid minitask for tonight's tutorial... the wkend is near... muahahah is starts at 9pm tonight for me... *yeah* if i can finish my minitask early, i will pop by Chadstone to buy the 4 super belated bday prezzies...

I am a changed drinker... from full fledge, sweet, full flavored coke to diet coke... I hv been clean from coke for abt one mth. The last time i drank it was at Fitness first in Spore... took only a bit coz i really had craving for it..
Wha made me change?? Just one simple fact: "A can of full coke contains 7 spoons of sugar" After understanding that, i never liked to touch it again.... I used to be a true blue hater of "diet" products, thinking that ppl are just deciving themselves of the good full flavor... now i know, i rather be one of them than hv tons of sugar in me...

:: Officially stressed ::Was walkin hm fr Safeway tonight, carryin the bag of groceries... startin to think why i am feelin so depressed all of a sudden... hmmm tiredness is likely to hv triggered it... asked God to take this burden again, give me new joy.. abundant joy... i know its already there available for me, just not reachin towards it and grabbin it at the moment...
Then i started to run down a list of things i need to complete:
- Design project (due next wk) much work is required.
- Shooting for the second design project is this week, pray that it will turn out fine. This is only the beginning, the editing and putting together is a second part.
- Work. What will we do if F&C is not interested? Where do we go fr there? Its not totally starting fr scratch, but in a way it is. Need to start thinkin abt the assignment instead of "work" but then again, there's no running away fr it.
- Articles. Tons to read.
- Need to do the mini task which i missed last week. crap
- Balance sheet. *arrgghhh* why does this unit involve accounting terminology and methods.. crap
- Adidas info for presentation... printed out tons today, need to run through
As i hv said, and i will say it again... I AM OFFICIALLY STRESSED...

hmmm before all you men out there jump at my title... its more of a question then a statement... why are all good/nice men in hot contention.. no need for good looks, great dress sense, nice sports car, wonderful charisma, just a great personality will be sufficient... all the bees will flock towards tha flower.. i guess it explains that the exterior is not important, internal attraction takes the kick...
Do they know that they are much sought after and therefore act as though they are oblivious to it.. or are they really so insensitive tha they need smeone to tell them straight in the face... there is only two ending to tha scenario - Happiness or Rejection...
As ade will say: Sit still and wait till the cows come home.... they will eventually come hm...haha i pray that God will send tha nice pokie dot cow.. hmmm not making sense.. haha
but tha is the strategy tha i hv chosen and will not regret...

:: Dinner ::Had decided to cook up a storm for my mel gang aft a tough week.... hmm my bah ku teh turned out strong aroma with not much "teh" taste... ended up more like bah ku soup.. haha... but the fellowship was definately good... A quick pic before we started eating:
Aft dinner, we decided to "compensate" Chad's long overdued bday celebration with a nice cheese cake to end of the dinner... it was totally unexpected coz it was so long ago.. haha... even angie didn;t know abt our plan.. hehe

Loss of $50 per unit = $750,000. Loss of $14.25 per unit from shareholder discounts = $213,750. Loss of 3% Diners ($8.55 per unit) = $128,250. 1. Please send the names of your management team that organised this deal so that we know never to employ them. 2. Figure out how much you lost on this deal and ponder why you get such crook publicity.”
This deal speaks volumes about the extent of discounting at Coles Myer when a retailer such as Harvey Norman can buy a product from Coles Myer, to sell in its stores, cheaper than going direct to the supplier — and that is before taking into account shareholder discounts, enhanced Coles Myer FlyBuy points, introductory Source credit card offers, interest-free periods up to three years, petrol discounts and other bells and whistles.
Harvey wrote the letter on December 17, 2002. Since then, Coles Myer discounting has become fiercer, and Harvey more scathing about the retailer’s strategy. (etc)

:: Today was not so bad aft all ::It was indeed a long day, fr mornin classes to work and bk to classes again.. actually i was dreadin morning's multimedia class, but to my amazement I was able to keep up with what the lectuerer was going through!! PTL!! Some more he was going at a lightning speed... even the gal beside me gave up... I had actually planned to sit beside her coz she was a visual comm student.. hehe...
To make it a even better day, i managed to sell my first edition textbk (they are using second edition now) all thanks to my thai classmate... guess wha!! there;s a bonus to tha!! the thai guy tha bought my book is so cute!!!! *faintzzz* he was wearing a leather jacket (though it may seem cheezy) but he looks so good in it... and he's a mba student!!! wha....

:: The Sun, the sand and the sea ::Yups tha was exactly wha we got today at Port Melbourne!! Louise has officially inherited her sister's car (who has gone bk to spore for a couple of months) so we decided, with the sunny weather, wha better to spend the sunday aft drivin to St Kildas and enjoyin the scenary!!! muaahaha looks like we will be doin quite a bit of explorin in these couple of mths... We had intened to hv coffee at St Kildas, but there was noo parkin lot!! so in the end we decided to go to Port Melbourne instead...
It was my first visit there.. it was beautiful... of course, hanging out with the gals, we never fail to snap away... hehe
