:: Decisions, decision ::Woke up this mornin and suddenly decided tha i had to end this feelin... this feelin that is eating up too much of me... even though at time i keep askin God "when, who and why", i hv been told time and time to be patient.. even as i read my friend's email, it reminded me that God knows best:
Be encouraged and know that God sees the end of the journey that we are still traveling on. He knows exactly what we need and when we need it and His timetable is exact and proficient whereas ours is not.
Have confidence in the Lord and know that He loves you with an everlasting love and wishes that your Joy may be full. The Bible says that it is God's good pleasure
to give us the kingdom, so let us come before Him with Thanksgiving and not complaint and continually let God know that our eyes are focused on Him and not on the negative situations that come before us. (Isaiah 40:12-14)
:: Bloggin in the dark ::
seems that the whole of Spore has just gone on a major blackout!! hmmmm thanks to my trusty laptop battery, my hse has some light to it... even the phone lines are down, that is indeed major... oh yeah i can connect to internet radio, at least we can hear sme music!! strangely enough, it buffers better than when i am on cable in Melbourne... haha Thank God for internet and technology!! one more thing, i realised that i am training to type in the dark!! haha (okay extra)
:: Birthday celebrations ::
1) My beloved cell
Need to give special credit mentions to my dearest dearest cell group for the special surprise party on friday night... they made me believed tha they were all not comin to cell, but in actual fact they were hidin in Su hock's room... then suddenly they bursted out with the cake and poppers!! i can only go "arrrhhhh"... it was very sweet of them... love them all to bits!! mucks!!

went to karaoke with my friend's "free rm" voucher today... su, viv, mich and lou were there.. gie was down with diahorrea *sob sob* otherwise the group would hv been complete... sang our hearts out for 4 hrs straight... super siok!!! lou came later and surprised me with the cake!! here are sme pics fr today...

:: Pump class ::
Oh yes i had mine ever first pump class with Su at the Spore fitness first yesterday... thank God i can still feel my arms today... haha it was quite fun, liftin weights to the rythum of music...
oh the fitness first here is excellent!!! me and Su brought every single thing (towels, showerin requirements) in our large bags only to realise tha everythin is provided there!! the place is big and nice and well ventilated... the one in Melbourne is quite stuffy i must say... hmmm i think i will continue my membership when i am bk permanently... speakin of which, i better go download a copy of their group classes timetable...
oh well the electricity is bk... yeah!! its TV watchin time!!

:: Sing, Sing a song ::Usually at this time of a sunday evening, i would be dreading monday morning... but Noooo..... I'm not coz I am not working!! (haha i can feel the knifes of those who needs to coming towards me)
did i mention that I was "movie deprived" when i was in melbourne? haha i watched 2 movies since i;ve been bk... "Round the world in 80 days" yesterday aft and "Windstruck" (korean movie) this aft... quite amazin considering tha I hv only been hm 3 days...
Went to karaoke last night.. muahaha finally got to sing half my heart's out aft 2 mths of abstance from it...everyone was tired so was it.. so we went hm earlier...
Its really good to be home!! opps have i said tha yet?? besides being bk in the lovin arms of my parents, friends and cell members, nothing beats being bk at my home church... today;s service was excellent, i really thank God for bringin my bk... never appreciated my hm church so much before...
I was starting to feel afraid tha this holiday would be BORING... hmmm its been smetime since i hv bummed around in Spore... and i was tellin God tha.. smehow He reasurred me tha He has given me life, life to the fullest!!

:: Home sweet (warm) home ::Yesh!! the long awaited day is finally here... am now bk in the extremely warm and humid weather of Spore.. its nice to be home... in the presence of loving parents, friends (of the same age group, haha no offence melbounites...) and cell group...
As warned by viv and gie, the "warmess" of the weather totally overwhelmed me when i got out of the terminal... and the only thing tha i can say is "warmmmmmm...." EL can attest to tha.. i hit a record breakin 4 times even before i reach his car... it was very nice of him to pick me up fr the airport despite the sudden "disappearence" of those who were suppose to come along as well...
aft that we proceeded for supper at newton, meetin up with John and Vera... muahaha shall not tempt those bk in Melbourne with pics but this was the usual spread:
1) Hokkien prawn mee
2) Carrot cake (with loads of dark sauce)
3) Sambal stingray
4) Chicken wings (definately not the same as Vic mark ones)
had bits of everythin coz it was simply too warm to eat so much.... Su, remember me cravings for soup, well they are totally GONE!! I just wan salads now.. nice and cold... hmmm cheng teng....
Oh yes.. its my Bday today!! yeah "happy bday to me, happy bday to me, happy bday to princess evee, happy bday to me" I am now officially a quarter of a century old... am goin lunch at fullerton w parents later.. muahahaha...

:: Tea for me ?? ::Me and viv headed down to chapel st for one last burst of shopping today (gosh tha sounded like studyin for exams)... as we were walkin to chapel st fr South Yarra train station, a nice "french" lookin tea shop caught our eye... we both decided to check out the exquisite shop...
in the shop was this nice young looking, tall, "see boon" spect guy who was standin behind the counter.. he was in a long sleve shirt and a blue vest... omg he was sooooo cute and totally fit my definition of dream guy. since young i have always be quite fascinate abt guys in woolen vest and there was this guy, fittin my dream description standin in front of me!!! *faintzz*
he recommended a couple of their "popular" selection, and was kinda shy coz he was very gentle spoken and kept looking down... in the end i got "willing conned" into nice jap green and oolong tea...
tha was the main highlight of my shoppin trip, no wonder it went so well.. coz it start off well...*sighhhh*

:: shop, shop, shopping ::managed to cover two places for shopping today - Smith and Bridge...hmmm though did not buy alot of stuff but am still quite satified with the window shoppin that i had completed...more to come tmrw coz viv and i will be going to chapel st.
will be returnin hm to an empty hse today.. haha gie managed to get on an earlier fight by waitin at the airport for standby... tok abt preseverance.. haha she takes the kick.. she got upgraded sme more..:P
decided to give sme encouragement to the ones who have yet to complete their exams - Lou and Su...game over to their place and cooked dinner for them.. didn;t turn out real good though... sorry gals, will try again next time yah (oh su, will remember the cucumbers...next time :V) hang in there gals.. you can do it!! here are a few things which i hv to comment abt the show Troy which I watched last night
1) Orlando Bloom dun really know how to fight with a sword, he can only shoot arrows. This is proven through both Troy and Lord of the Rings....
2) Brad pitt is Sssssooooo hunky... didn;t used to think he was, just tot that he was another pretty face.. hahah
3) the sound track was real good... hmm and all the scenary shots too... makes me wanna go away in the mountain for a couple of days...
the funny thing is, i hv not watched much movie since i came to melbourne... and durin this exam period, i watched a movie aft every paper.. haha...
1) aft my wed and thu paper, watched chinese movie with Su
2) aft my mon paper, watched Raising Helen with Su and Lou

:: It is Finished!! ::Yesh!! The torture is finally over Finally completed my last paper today... it was on Marketing research... i remembered in one of my earlier blogs i said that i love the unit. I would like to take that back NOW... it is quite interesting to know, but not interesting to take an exam on... its actually stats.. but with marketing implications...I am NOT a number person... and thus i detest this unit.. *mental note: never to take research related units unless necessary*
The strangest thing is, gie was taking a marketing paper today and she hates it... haha She on the other hand has completed stats unit and seemed to be fine with it... last night we were toyin with the idea of takin each others' exam... life would be perfect.. haha mad tots for stressed ppl... hmmm i was even sayin to gie:"if only we can wake up exchanging identity" so tha we can take each other's paper... tsk tsk..
I am so ever ready to go bk to Spore... wanna shop till i drop before i go back.. the sale here is AMAZING!!!

:: Productivity ::Am sitting at the basement of Balieu again.. yes yes back to studyin at the libraries... coz i realised that I am SO NOT productive when i am at hm.. too much distractions.. oh well only two actually... TV and Internet, think i now have a "love-hate relationship with technology haha...
had a totally UNPRODUCTIVE day yesterday... besides being sentimential i really had no mood to study... haha last paper is usually the case... watch SO much TV and downloaded so many songs (opps!!) and baked cookies sme more.. but its really the "cheating" kind where every is already mixed and all you had to do is break them into pieces and put them into the oven... ten minutes later.."tada!!" fresh baked cookies.. haha
waitin for Lou to deliver nice warm soup that Su made... yumss.... stomach rumbling already...

got two surprise calls... one was yesterday when john kor kor called... he was going to pick me up fr airport so had to get my details... yeah!! so nice of him...he is one bro which i can share without hesitation..pourin my heart out when i am down... Vera is so blessed to have him... heard that they are applyin for a flat already..so sweet
the other one is rebecca... called fr office..been smsin her but only called once in the last 3 mths.. haha so sweet of her too.. miss the KLKKTCSS bunch at Gartshore...
think the weather has definately made me more sentimental... hahah time to hit the books.. hv not started the whole day.. nuain...

:: Season of bordeomness (yes again) ::Decided to blog whilst waitin for Su to finish sme past yr paper question at Balieu... yes we decided to move here as CAE closes at 8pm....
Gettin quite bored these days... i think coz its my last paper and i hv quite sme time to it, as compared to the previous ones...but i am still studying nevertheless... quite happy coz i managed to complete the planned 2.5 lectures today... muahaha...
too much on my mind lately... exams, wha units to take next sem, wha to bring bk to S'pore, wha to do in S'pore, who to meet in S'pore, wha to bring bk fr S'pore... Information overload!! thank goodness for my trusty PDA which i carry everywhere, i will jot down wha ever comes to my mind...
Oh well lets end this entry with one interesting happening yesterday... was at big W buying loads of confectionary bk to S'pore for sme ppl(you know who you are culprids) and was holding it w one arm... my other arm was carefully carrying a cake box fr Crown bakery which i bought for gie (who was buryin her head in the books for her exam today)...
when i reached the counter.. i place the box on the counter before unloading my other arm... the gal serving me happily too my cake box, flip underneath (presumbly lookin for the barcode) and put it to the scanner!!!
Eve: "No...No.. tha is my cake"
Gal: "erm oh.. sorry.. you shld leave anything on the counter, otherwise i wld take and scan"
Eve: "I had to put that down to unload these..." (in a tat bit irritated voice)
Gal: Oh i'm sorry.... is the cake alright...
I decided to let it go... firstly coz my cake was alright, secondly she is not local and might not have known wha "Crown Bakery" is and thirdly, she did not say it in the most defensive manner...
Oh yeah... 8 days more and counting down to S'pore!! Didn't remember being so happy returnin hm when i was in perth... maybe coz things were diff then, didn't really wan to go bk coz it was a sad thing and didn;t look forward to it...ackward situation, not with my family of course... but smeone elses...

:: Pain pain ::Dun know wha was wrong with my stomach yesterday... keep getting hungry... had a light snack in the mid afternoon and then by evening i was SUPER hungry lor...
Came home had dinner.. and suddently i felt this excruciating pain in my gastric... oh well i tot it would be over once i had my medication.. but NO... it was bad... could not really lie down so i had to sit upright and curl myself in to a ball...threw up a couple of times.. think i was scaring gie, who tot i may faint in the toilet.. sorry babe for all the touble...
i had so much to study.. my past year papers and text readings... thank God I already finished my lecture note before heading hm... things that were going through my mind.."shld i go for exam" "if not do i hv to take it on the 24th, then my flight how"... pray very hard... and decided to sleep instead...
special thanks to lou and viv's sms... sorry i didn't reply didnt see till this morning... and my "pharmaist cum doctor advisor" su, i took angie's mediacation aft 3 hrs anyway...also chad for offering to send me to hos if i really needed...
Today's paper was not too bad.. but my hopes of distinction kinda dashed already...

Yups that the sad life of eve for this week.. haha today's buyer behaviour was okayyyy... Thank God for giving me the wisdom to be able to absorb all the information in one day... *phew* pray that I will pass by accumulating all the little little marks here and there... i felt that it was a dumping time.. just like i told my mum, i dumped all the information on the topics tha i answered... whether it was right or not.. hmm i really dun know...
finally went got my ass to the gym today.. yeah!! managed to do some cardio.. quite satisfied.. whilst i was working out, i felt SO unfit.. and the last time that I worked out was on sat.. oh but that was pilates.. so dun know whether counted or not..
NEED TO DESTRESS!!!!
oh btw am currently at warnet.. accompany Su who is working... dun know wha logic is tha.. hahah just bored and wanted a break fr studyin!! no books tonight.. it will commence again tmrw aft dim sum... am waiting for Su to get off work so that we can go scream our lungs out!! erm now lah.. at karaoke lah...
realised that I hv been spending more money on food this month.. think its becoz hv been eating out quite a bit.. no time to cook.. breakfast lunch dinner are mostly eaten near library area...(it sounds super sad, but its the truth!!) hmmm hv been tryin to keep to the one fist carbo, one fist protein and two fist fibre diet.. a bit bit hard though..

:: Sigh, Sighing and Sighed ::Here i am sittin at CAE library again straight after my foundations paper... it was alright.. should be able to pass (i pray) after vomitting out all the information that I had stored in my head for the past few days... oh well after all that info is out.. input is required... input for tmrw's buyer behaviour paper...
a couple of us (my uni friends) were complaining about not having any study break... usually there would be one week break aft the end of the semester for students to prepare their exams... tha's not the case for us.. oh well, wondering even if there is a study break, how many of us would use it wisely?!!! hmmm got a call frm my classmate last night around 9pm and she said she has not started studying yet for today's paper... diaong...
to add on the pressure, the paper which i had requested to shift so that I can go bk spore on the 24th... i wrote to my lecturer to ask when is the date... she replied that she had not received any request for me.. wha the??!! so i replied her email narrating the two instances whereby i spoke to her.. so much for "black and white" fr my work experience.. tot it would not apply in sch scenarios... oh well she replied today that the alternative date for the paper is next monday!!! 14th!! wha the??! anyway.. no more partying for tmrw night (but will still go to the much needed gym workout) and more studying is needed...

:: open, opening, opened ::yeah wha joy!! finally su and i get to go bk to CAE library... they were closed during the weekends and thus the library hopping... Wha a strange thing.. we've been studyin at CAE library for the past few days and only realised that they hv not had the grand opening yet!!! today whilst we were studying in the afternoon, they started setting up lights, drinks station blah blah blah... and then around 6pm the party started.. though i was in the quiet study area... i can hear the band going on outside!! the study area also had glass walls.. so the ppl outside could actually lookin.. i felt like an exhibit....
with my stomach groawing continously, it was a sure indication to be heading hm...

:: Fun, fun, fun ::Think i am going mad, my titles are all the same word repeated 3 times.. haha nevermind i think it will pass when exams are over... in the meantime you guys will just hv to put up with my madness...
just wanna say that its really fun studyin together.. though we sit apart from each other in the library.. just the thought that your friends are also studying makes you feel more motivated...
studyin at balieu library is totally a different experience..walking up and down to meet your friends help you to stretch those feet... and then your friend will come down and gossip with you and tha's an indication of break time.. haha.. the inaccessable water fountain and snack area... sigh every where is books.. at least at CAE, there's VCD, CD to browse..
Speakin of VCDs, i borrowed this movie by Sammi Cheng and Louis Koo (drool factor) "love for all seasons" and there is this particular scene which is so funny.. he plays on the piano and starts singing (in the most off key tune) "Long time no see, i love you so much you still laugh at me.. i love you, you love me not (x3)" this song is glued stuck to me and su's brain.. humming to it ever so often... this is my current song...

sigh its sat night and i am stuck at hm... hv craving for GOOD nice coffee.. but too late to go out also... at least i managed to satisfy my craving of having steak... the one they served at Mark's place was too thick, and not well marinated.. but the portion is definately HUGE... thank goodness VC was there to help eat the sides of the steak (he specifically requested for it) *diaong*

In the mist of a study break rite now.. woke up SUPER late this morning.. didn't manage to do any work b4 pilates class.. felt that this particular trainer is a bit too advance for me.. think i will stick to essentials (more basic).. Am at Balieu library of Mel uni today.. sigh.. coz our new hide out closes at 1pm.. crap.. anyway the environment is definately not as condusive... esp in the first spot that Su and i had... special thanks to VC for helpin us find tha second spot!! yeah!!
realised that all of us are focused... focused on bloggin even more regularly then ever... haha think its the bordeomness that is driving us to it.. never seen my Mel friends blog this consistently.. haha you know who you are!! sme even wen for blog makeover.. changing the skins..
oh well, can see su furiously bloggin away at the computer near me.. tha surely proves my hypothesis..
Oh yes today is the big day for my fav couple in my Spore cell... aft MANY years of pat-torlogy, they are finally gettin married today!!! yeah!! am really upset that I am missing the wedding of the century!!! arrgghh... i really wish i was bk in spore with them... sob sob..

:: Retail Therapy ::Woke up SUPER late today and only reached the libray at close to 2pm... At least i managed to get 9 hrs of beauty sleep...Su and i decided to reward ourselves for all the diligence that we hv put in for studyin the 2.5 hrs today.. and decided to hit the shops.. We both bought a Stussy bag each and i bought a couple of tops.. sigh still did not managed to clear my list of one jacket and one pair of jeans...will try again tmrw..
hmm tmrw's schedule.. Wake up EARLY and reach library when it opens (8am)... that is the aim whether we achieve it or not that is another question all together.. haha

Ever thought of how to retain vistors to a library?? Hmmm how come there is no loyalty program for library??... is the communication strategy focused on through direct marketing...what about above the line media?? is advertising not required for libraries...who are the target audience and how is the segmentation done... Gosh its quite obvious that I am studin for the marketing foundations paper on wed...

Remember the lady that i mentioned who got easily irritated in the library.. gosh she was there again today but minding her own stuff... the strangest thing is.. i was using the comp finishing up my last assignment and there she was sitting right opposite me... then suddenly there was this weird noise coming from behind the shelves and we just looked at each other and gave tha "wha is that sound" look...*ah eye contact!!*
On top of tha, i bumped into her when i was in the toilet and we sort of acknowledge each other..*diaong*
Oh well Su and i got SO bored that we decided to make the fullest use of our camera phone.. happily taking pictures with books which best describes us... will post them here when it has been downloaded...

:: Holiday in Spore ::For those who did not know, it is a public holiday in spore today!! *whine!! double whine** can't wait for exams to clear and get bk for a good break!! anyway at Monash's postgrad lounge now.. doing assignment (again!!)... oay better get bk to it.. got two hrs before lecture starts!! never spent this much time studyin in my ENTIRE life.. ahah if you think i was bright well you guess wrong.. just never put so much effort into it.. hehe

:: Library ethics ::
Oh wha weird ppl do we meet at the library everyday!! ahah.. decided to take couple minutes off my assignment time to blog it... Was in this secluded room with Su today and this lady kept lookin over at us whenever anyone else makes a noise in the room.. noises that certainly cannot be avoided, like sneezin, droppin of pens... like wha the??!! to the extend i was thinkin if i was disturbing her with my furious typin.. haha in the end i decided to look over at her whilst she was staring over...erm and sort of gave her the "buei song" look hahah opps.. bad testimony pls do not learn.. haha at least i did not use my tongue (book of James)...
The other character i am going to tok abt is not weird, but sort of inspiring... its really quite amazin to see that ppl here still study despite of their old age... this old lady (filled with while hair) came into the room and sat down with her stack of notes which was higher than mine!! OMGosh!! she started writing and studyin...
my mum used to say "if i got chance i would go study" oh well mum, you can.. come join me here.. hahah... wha do you say daddy??
it certainly is a great comparison to the older age group in S'pore... where they just sit around void decks and not accomplishing much... hmm like i mentioned before, i wanna fulfilled life.. dun think i wanna be like them when i am old.... i'm not discriminating them but just think i dun wan tha for my own life...

Whao had an unblievable dream last night... so beautiful... dreamt that i was on holiday on the most beautiful and luxurious ship... getting like special treatment and all.. of course not forgettin my nam cha chin ku.. but didn;t get to see his face.. hahah mystery person yet to appear!!! Strangely i was one of the character in Sex in the City (wha the??!!) hahah i shall not specifically mention who coz its one of the "bitchier" ones... hahaha
it was like one of those carribean holidays... the sun the sand and the sea... you get the idea... my dream when off in a *puff* when my alarm rang... *yikes* oh well aft all, its ONLY a dream...
oh well all is not lost... back to "buyer behaviour and bunggee jumping"...
