It struck me that she is right...
I am rather stringent on most things, especially in the area of work... and should learn to allow more space, to relax and not be so particular about the inner boundaries that i have set...
I wonder wha has made me so determined about not making mistakes and also enforcing that same attitude onto others? It has also silently crept into other areas of my life...

On a happier note...Am off to Italy for the next couple of weeks!!! yippie... have not had much time in packing my stuff as yet, still trying to clear most of the work (well at least delegate it, provided that people follow up on it) so no time to read through the places that we need to visit! way abt that is to print it out, and that would be my reading material on the long flight...

The launch is no longer a valid excuse. cc-ing them in the emails? i think might as well forget it. becoz there is no support for us to others, it more like being critical of us. whatever.

:: Same Same but Different? ::Been watching quite a number of K dramas in the past few months... realised a couple of trends:
1) All must have a very boisterous, thick skinned female lead who is without a doubt in financial crisis of certain sort.
2) Then there will be a SUPER rich male lead who also has a HUGE ego, and does not know how to express his feelings when he falls in love with the female lead. He would take the approach of hiding his true feelings behind a very *i am the man* facade. But yet when the female lead falls sick (that would make point 3), he would shed that tough image and take care of her. She would, of course, not realise that he was the one taking care of her.
3) Female lead would at one point be down with fever, likely caused by some waiting/worrying for the male lead.
4) The leads would be flanked by 1 x male supporting actor and 1 x female supporting actress. The male supporting actor WILL also be after the female lead. He is the kind who will run to the female's rescue whenever she is trouble, he is gentle, kind, RICH also. Well, to sum it all up, all that the male lead is not. He is likely to be the female lead's best friend, pouring out all her woes and heartaches.
The female supporting actress is likely to be the ex love of the male actor, or someone who is currently infatuated with him. Her character can vary between the gentle kind or the very determined to spoil the lead's relationship kind.
5) Both leads would be very confused as to whether the other party is in love with them.
6) Even after they have expressed their feelings for each other (like 3 quarters down the line of the series), they will go through situations whereby it deters them fr happy ending (otherwise the story line cannot be dragged). This will ding dong a couple of times, like when they are so close to getting together, something else will happen.
7) Of course a happy ending
So far these have been evident in the following series that i have watched:
- Full house
- Princess hours
- My Girl
- Lovers in Paris (current viewing)
Amongst the above, Princess hours is slightly different becoz of its setting in the palace (okay i am bias, so sue me :P ) It stands out from the others becoz of this context. The rest are either in the context of hotel management, being a hot artist, or car distribution company....
With the above pointers, i think we can write our own korean drama!!

Aft a tiring launch party, decided that i need to destress. So, a nice haircut did the trick. Hv decided to be adventurous and take the plunge in getting a fringe - something which i had not done since primary sch (not kidding you!) Yes, vivien's hairstylist did a great jop with it. Only if i can maintain it by styling it right haha... tha is the challenge.
Today marks a new beginning for the 10 of us. MW will now be officially called PHD... whether that is a positive thing or not, let's just take one step at each time.
The launch party was definately a good opportunity for networking... catching up with media owners (esp the regional ones) who i have lost touch for quite a while... Even though it was raining cats and dogs, many people did turn up, most of which are media owners as compared to clients. I must say it was a chic event.
The change in name is just a change in name. It does not change the situation nor the environment. Its a long term battle and its getting very tiring.
Its the heart vs the mind vs Your direction and Your will.

This is the best description for the situation. At times, the hand is in and other times it totally out. I would rather you make up your mind, if you are in, be IN totally. And not gradually slip it out and then suddenly decides to be IN again... It's a huge distraction...
And yes, you dun know the core of the problem. It's seeing beyond what is on the surface and dealing with it. The cards has already been placed clearly on the table, however, you still do not see the real situation.

Work has been madness... with another new account added to my portfolio, it's driving me and brenda nuts! they constantly have so many campaigns running, we need to have a clear mind which campaign we are toking about. But God is Good! My clients are VERY VERY nice.... and the relationship has been established within a short period of a mth. Dun think we have ever been so busy... constantly trying to clear things off my inbox so that i can work on other things...
its just GO GO GO... no stopping, no time to take a break to think, just working on instincts. Which is not exactly good, coz with so much going on... mistakes has occured. The challenge is then how to overcome it... Let it not be by my own might, nor my own strength, but by the Power of God.
*btw, was already suffering from Monday blues on Friday evening... yes, it is that bad.*
