Time really flies... its time for the annual family gathering... i always look forward to it before the festive season, however when real time kicks in, i loose all interest. Not that i do not want to see my aunties and uncles, but everyone just makes it difficult to do so... with concerns of their own agenda placed in first priority rather than "family"my extended family dun usually congregate together until this time of the year.... i do wish that we would have more gatherings but smehow everyone has their own negative perceptions and vibes about each other that really keeps us apart...
i do wish that everyone would be more tolerant and open minded about the issues... to see that nothing is more important than being a family and that things do not matter... though we cannot change the character of each other, why not try accepting them the way they are and work things around it? If you dislike a person, there is nothing you can do to change the person.. why not try changing your own perception about him/her instead? To see the positive side of who they are and what they can do... The first step being to ask God to help you find forgiveness for that person...
On a seperate note, perhaps i shld not be negative abt this situation as well... perhaps i can be that light to bring everyone together... perhaps...

Can you believe it... i am stuck in the office now all because i am unable to book a cab!!! have tried calling several taxi companies in the past 15 mins already but none of the taxis are available to bring me home *whine* my other colleague who leave half an hour ago just managed to get a cab downstairs...oooohhh sooo looonggg day....
just let me whine hehe
CNY is drawing near but i am not feeling the excitment from it... prob coz there are so many changes going on now that i am just trying to handle all of it... changes at work, in my ministry which will also ultimately lead to my character, my priorities etc...
But one's thing for sure... You will not change... You are the same yesterday, today and forever... Thank You for being that never changing God

He plays it so well!! The running of his fingers on the strings as though they were the keys on the piano!! No wonder he has quite a number of female fans trying hard to get his attention... *yes like dancing right infront of him... to no rhythm sense that is*All thanks to his great playin skills and soothing voice..... i have Coldplay's "Sound of Speed" stuck in my head... i know i'm a bit slow in taking a liking to the song but its better late then never!!

hmmm somehow there's something abt the spore fitness trainers that i dun really like....they make weird noises during pump... *dodgy look* dun know if its just me but the rest of the class seem to be enjoyin it... nv am i going to attend his class again!!

Was sent out to do a Vox-pox recording with Brenda...It was the first time that we had to do something like that...
Street interviews are not easy...
1) Amongst the various local races that we have requested to do the survey, it was found that the chinese were the most reluctant
2) Some agreed to the survey but turned us down when we stated that we had to capture them on video
3) The professional mic (that my boss specially brought in today) had to fail us after the first interview, after which we had to use the generic one that came with the video cam
4) Teenagers are more open to do surveys as compared to grown adults (nothing that we dun know yet)
5) Maybe we should have just said that we were students doing FYP.... we were dressed like students... maybe that wld have received more respondents
6) we definately looked dodgy when we scouted around for our "targets"
Endless year plans to finish off... taking a quick look at the WIP list just makes me wanna tear it apart... on the other hand, i must perserve on... so much to do.. but let's skim it off one by one...
oh dear, procastination's good friend - apathy is trying to make itself comfortable...

Galfriends will never change... though some of us may not have met up or even be in contact for the past 1.5yrs... but once the chatting starts, it was as though that absence never existed... though we may be going through our own issues, but that does not deter us from exposing our true self to each other... no curtain, no facade... After a bowl of bah chor mee and a teh si peng, we are still chatting about him, him and him....tsk tsk tsk will we ever change our conversational topic?
A new trend seems to be appearing, am always coming bk to the office on Sat afternoons after my friends' church wedding... oh well try to squeeze in a couple of hours of work in between the church and dinner social events.. to ease up the load on crazy mondays...
on a brighter note, am off on Mon and Wed!! that makes it a really long weekend... though thoughts of the unfinished work seems to be consistently nagging at the back of my mind... but hey, work can never be finished! so live with it! haha
