Spent a Sun evening just sitting at Botanical Gardens watchin a free concert by Dick Lee... we were up to our funny photo taking sessions again as usual.. click on the photo for more pics!
Had a great relaxing time at Vietnam, most of which was spent in HoiAn... Coz we flew into Danang, we spent only one night there and walked around a bit the next day...
We found out something rather strange in our night stroll... everyone was in a "cafe" and they were all facing towards the street... we tried very hard to find out wha were they looking at, however to no avail. The next day, we passed by a book rental stall and realised that they were all facing the street, reading their books!!! there is this thing about them facing the street which we dun understand why....
HoiAn was much more "populated", crawing with tourist... we spent a day visiting the relic site "My Son" which was quite disappointing as compared to what we read up on... the rest of the days were spent "people watching" at the cafes that we were eating....
We had decided to tailor made some clothes there since it was so cheap! I got excited and ended up with 3 dresses (1 cotton, 1 thai silk, 1 vietnam silk) and 2 tops (1 cheongsam top, 1 simple working top)... All 5 pieces for only 64 USD!! Considering its material and tailor-made clothes, i think its very worth it... There were many shops there, and the one that we went into was a genuine kind pregnant lady that served us... she offered good price and was not too pushy about us doing more pieces... we had a nice chat with her as well, knowing more about their culture and lifestlye... She gave birth to a baby girl on the day that we were leaving town!!
The weather was not too fantastic though, it would start drizzling or pouring as and when without any prior warning... the locals see quite used to it, bringin their poncho everywhere they go...
In a few adjectives to sum up the trip:
Quiet, relaxing, local food, walking, honking, lawless traffic, too much time on my hands, simple life.

I really shld stop watching Jap/Korean drama serials... am feeling too much of the emotional hype... and it also makes me hope that i will get my fairytale romantic love story in my next relationship.. come on, wake up to the real world... nothing and no one will ever be as good as Halu (from Pride) or MingHe (from Full hse)*forlorn sigh*

On a brighter side of note, was in town yesterday afternoon and Club Rainbow was doing a charity drive... for every $10 you donate, you can get your hair styled... since mum and i had sme time to kill, i decided to go for it... and this is wha i got! Many gals got their hair curled, but mine was too short! ><.... it took me a while to get used to this styling coz i felt that i had just walked out of a ABBA mtv (coz we were singing their songs the night before) hehe
Tmrw's monday and i am dreading it.. i dun know why...
maybe coz its doreen's last day with us...
then again, its the same kind of dreaded feeling i had when i was working with my ex-boss....oh well... btw she finally resigned!!! *pop champagne*
We had a farewell party on Friday nite.. the food at Shangri-la's The Line was fab... the nite ended off with a KTV session at Party World...
All of us worked on a scrapbook the night before, all thanks to Viv planning, creativity and preparation... it was a beautiful momento...

Watched PRIDE on sunday night and finished the whole series in one night... yes i went to bed in the wee hrs not regreting so... all coz the role that Kimura played have so much character in him, its way cool... He's a great actor and the script was short and not too draggy... the characters were well developed throughout the show as well... Melb gals, its a must watch okie!!Eve used to wan a musician...

Have you ever felt that a wrong decision, though there is no major implications from that wrong decision, is something that should not have been a consideration at all in the beginning...It does not feel good when you realise favoritism has been shown when it shld not be the case...

Su Hock's wedding over the wkend... it was a fun time, everyone making sure that it was a beautiful event for the couple...
Everyone were dressed-up specially for the occasion... the gals were happy to have the chance to doll up :)
Was on the worship team for their church wedding... As i stood on the stage seeing the bride walk in with her father, it was such a beautiful sight...
