Saturday, September 22, 2007 Celebrations galore!yes.. it all started last friday night when PHD had our first anniversary party.... decided that we should give BBQ another go (despite a horrendous one few months back) and it turned out great. The fire was good and the food was nicely cooked. It was held at Costa Sands chalet which we booked through our client. Mitch and i had decided to stay the night as we both reside at the other ends of Singapore. Clients and working partners came by for the night, something which we truly appreciated. oh yes, that was the night we PHD gals realised that we were all cam-crazers... Exciting moments captured here Part of the reason why we went all trigger happy was coz Joyce has a nice Sony digicam... now i am tempted to get one too!! Sat night - Dinner with me cell. After hearing so much hoohaas abt Sunset way and it being the next HV... we had dessert in this ching chong shop... Happy moments captured here Sat midnight - Sabbie's bday surprise. We got bored waiting and started to take emo shots. haha... well the bday surprise went pretty well i must say... thanks guys for turning up, despite all the tiredness, and making it a success... Emo moments captured here Sun dinner - More bday celebration, this time for Mr Zongs.. rather unglam i must say... erm the dressing and the location (coffeeshop - but hey, we went to eat the famous Botak Jones okay) Decided that it is too unglam to put up the piccies haha sorry Zongs... Mon to Wed (work-in-progress) Thu - Mediacorp trade function. Woo hoo... the gals (okay... me included) went gaga over Alvin Ng. Gaga moments captured here and these are the vetted ones already... we had many takes haha Fri night - SMA. First exciting SMA for me coz my client's campaign is a finalist. Though it is not my own campaign, but it would still be great to see my client win. The competition was strong, so had foresee that we were not likely to win. Anyhoos... we were bored halfway through the dinner and erm started taking pics (which is still sitting in joyce's camera. Will update the link later) well, that activity intensified as the night went on... major wins for the night: our asso director won Young Media Professional of the year as well as our sister company was given the agency of the year. Post party celebration was a must. Some of us gals celebrated in a different way: our long awaited k session which we have been itching since monday. Word of the week: 自high (in the context of trigger happy) Testimony: Rushed out of the house to attend my client's event at Botanical gardens this morning, only did i realised that my phone was "sleeping" on my bed when i reach the location. As i combed the grounds and through the massive crowd for a familiar face, i told my Heavenly Father: please let me find them! I don't wanna go home without letting my client know that i had made the trip (with only 2.5 hrs of sleep) Indeed He is Good! He lead me to the group of them who was with the DJs covering a live roving of the event. Counting down to the days that russ wld be bk from reservist... 3 more working days haha and when the other 2 bosses are bk fr their trip... this gal wans to take a break... before i come bk and chiong again. *yippie* Labels: Celebrations, PHD
